Irish Roots magazine is a genealogy and family history magazine dedicated totally to Irish ancestral research within the entire island of Ireland. Our aim is to assist readers to remove the brick wall that so many people encounter when embarking on their ancestral trail. We hope that at Irish Roots magazine we will be able to help you to trace those elusive Irish ancestors and have some fun along the way. In 2008 we ran a very successful series on getting started in genealogy and many of our readers have found it to be very useful . Our magazine continues to go from strength to strength with indepth articles on Irish genealogy - the latest in Irish genealogy news and many tips and tools to empower our readers. We also run a 'problem page' with one of Ireland's leading genealogists and a very popular letters page. In our current June issue one of our readers wrote of how she discovered her ancestors simply from the response she had from our letters page! At Irish Roots magazine we love to hear from our readers and we try to be as supportive as we can. Irish ancestral research can sometimes be frustrating but we are here to say don't give up, let us help you and enjoy the journey.
